Watford vs Lincoln

Match preview

Watford return to Vicarage Road desperate to arrest a slump that has dragged them down to twenty-first in the Championship table. Three consecutive defeats have severely dented confidence, though the Hornets can at least take some comfort from a reasonably solid home record of three wins from six matches so far this season.

Lincoln make the journey south sitting comfortably in fifteenth place, having accumulated fifteen points from their opening twelve fixtures. While the Imps arrive amid a similar three-game losing streak, their away form mirrors that of their hosts with three victories on the road, suggesting they will not be overawed by the Hertfordshire atmosphere.
