Derby vs Norwich

Match preview

Derby head into this Pride Park fixture sitting twenty-third in the table and desperately searching for a spark, having picked up just seven points from their opening twelve matches. Still waiting for a first home win of the campaign after four defeats and two draws, the hosts are mired in a five-match winless run that includes three consecutive stalemates.

Norwich make the journey south occupying twentieth position with twelve points on the board. While the Canaries have claimed two victories on their travels this term, their overall momentum has stalled badly following a sequence of four straight defeats.

These clubs traded home wins when they last met last season, with Derby edging a tight contest here in October before Norwich gained revenge at Carrow Road in April. Both sides desperately need a change of fortunes to pull clear of the relegation zone.
