Pure Predictions

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 September 2026

These terms set out the rules for using Pure Predictions. Pure Predictions is a free football-prediction game — there's no charge to play, no stakes, and no gambling. We sometimes offer free prizes for active players (see section 6). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Pure Predictions ("the site", "we", "us") is operated by Pure Sports Predictions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17274262) with its registered address at 67 Westfield Lane, Kippax, Leeds, LS25 7JA — see our About page. You can reach us at admin@purepredictions.co.uk. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the site. By using Pure Predictions you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

  • You sign in using our authentication provider (Hanko). You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure, and for activity that happens under your account.
  • You choose a nickname, which is shown to other players on leaderboards and in groups, and which we may use in our own promotional material (see section 7). Your nickname must be unique and must not be offensive, impersonate someone else, or contain anything unlawful. We may change or reset a nickname that breaks these rules.
  • One person, one account. Don't create multiple accounts to gain an advantage.

4. How the game works

  • Tournaments are made up of fixtures. You predict outcomes (including exact scores) for fixtures, and earn points based on how accurate your predictions are.
  • Predictions lock at kick-off. Once a fixture has started you can no longer add or change your prediction for it. Make sure your predictions are in before then.
  • Points are totalled into leaderboards. You can also create or join groups to compare scores with friends.
  • The scoring rules, points values, and game features may change over time as we improve the site. We'll apply any changes consistently to all players.

5. Free to play

Pure Predictions is free to play. There is no entry fee, no stake, and no betting — nothing to pay and nothing to lose. It is not a gambling or betting service. We sometimes run free prize competitions and prize draws for active players (see section 6); entry to those is always free and automatic, and can never be bought.

6. Monthly prizes

We sometimes offer free monthly prizes. When we do, we'll announce them on the site — including that month's prizes — before the month begins; prizes are never applied retrospectively, and if none have been announced for a month, there are none that month. The promoter is Pure Sports Predictions Ltd (details in section 1). No purchase or payment is ever necessary, and entry can't be bought — you take part by playing, as described below. There are two kinds of monthly prize: Player of the Month prizes, awarded for accuracy, and the Pure Streak prize draw, entered by taking part.

Player of the Month prizes.

  • A Player of the Month prize is announced for a named competition, and is attached to that competition's Player of the Month honour: it goes to the player who earns the most points from predictions on the competition's fixtures kicking off within that calendar month.
  • Ties are settled the way the site's leaderboards settle them: by most exact scorelines, then by whose predictions were closest on average. Players who still can't be separated share the honour, and the prize is divided equally between them.
  • The same player can win more than one competition's prize in the same month.

Entering the Pure Streak draw.

  • You earn one entry into a month's draw for each tournament in which you've predicted every match in every tournament week whose start date falls within that calendar month (UK time), with each prediction made before the match kicked off. Completing a second tournament earns a second entry, and so on — however many weeks that month happens to hold.
  • A match that is postponed, abandoned, or rescheduled to a date outside the draw month — or that wasn't open for prediction before its kick-off — is disregarded: it neither counts towards nor against completing a week.
  • If no tournament week starts in a month, no draw takes place for that month.
  • Entries made through multiple accounts, or by anyone found breaking these terms, are disqualified.

Who can win.

  • You must be resident in the United Kingdom to win a prize. Every qualifying player takes part automatically, whatever their age — prizes are always suitable for all ages.
  • If a winner is under 18, the prize must be claimed on their behalf by a parent or legal guardian, who consents to the win and receives the prize for them.
  • Employees of Pure Sports Predictions Ltd, members of their households, and anyone professionally connected with a month's prizes can't win.

Winners, notification, and the prize.

  • Draw winners are selected at random from all entries — and Player of the Month prizes are awarded — within 14 days of the end of the month. A player can win only one draw prize in a month: if a further entry of theirs is drawn, it is set aside and another drawn in its place, so each of a month's draw prizes goes to a different player.
  • We'll notify winners by email to their account address within 7 days of a prize being decided. Because it's about something you've won, this email is sent regardless of your email preferences.
  • To claim, a winner must respond within 28 days of our notification and provide reasonable evidence of their identity and UK residence. For a winner under 18, their parent or legal guardian must respond instead, confirm their consent to the win, and provide that evidence. If a winner doesn't respond in time, can't be verified, or turns out to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited — a draw prize is then redrawn, and a Player of the Month prize passes to the next-placed eligible player.
  • Prizes are vouchers as announced for that month. They're subject to the issuing retailer's own terms and expiry dates, are non-transferable, and there's no cash alternative. If an announced prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we may substitute one of equal or greater value.
  • We'll announce each winner's nickname on the site. As UK advertising rules require, we'll also make a winner's surname and county available to anyone who asks for them within a reasonable period after the month ends — if you'd rather we didn't share yours, tell us when you claim, and we'll then only share them where the Advertising Standards Authority requires it. For a winner under 18 we publish the nickname only, and share nothing more without their parent or guardian's consent.
  • We'll only change or cancel a month's prizes where events beyond our reasonable control make that unavoidable. Our liability in connection with any prize is limited to providing the announced prize.
  • Personal data provided when claiming a prize is used only to run the promotion — see our Privacy Policy.

7. Showing the game off

Pure Predictions is a game you play in public — your nickname, predictions, points and rank are shown to other players on leaderboards, and in the private leagues and clubs you join. You agree that we may also use those same public parts of your profile in our own promotional material: screenshots of leaderboards and match pages, social media posts, app store listings, and pages on this site.

  • Only what's already public. Your nickname, the names of clubs and private leagues you're in, your predictions, points, rank, badges, and prizes you've won. Never your email address, and nothing from your account settings.
  • No endorsement implied. We won't present you as recommending the site, put words in your mouth, or use your nickname in a way that suggests you've agreed to promote us.
  • You can opt out. Turn off "Feature me in promotional material" in the Communications section of your profile, or just tell us, and we'll leave you out from then on and remove or replace you in anything still under our control — though we can't recall material already printed, or copies other people have shared onwards. A parent or guardian can ask on behalf of a player under 18.

Prize winners are the one exception, covered in section 6: UK advertising rules require us to announce a winner, so that isn't something you can be left out of. How all of this works under data protection law, and how to object, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

When using Pure Predictions, you agree not to:

  • break any applicable law, or use the site for anything unlawful or harmful;
  • harass, abuse, or post offensive content (including via your nickname or group names);
  • cheat or manipulate scores or leaderboards, including by using multiple accounts or exploiting bugs;
  • access the site using automated means (bots, scrapers), or copy, scrape, or republish its data, without our permission;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems.

9. Match data and accuracy

Fixture, score, and standings data comes from third-party sources and is provided "as is". It may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We aren't liable for outcomes that depend on this data, and we may correct scores or recalculate points if the underlying data is updated or found to be wrong.

10. Availability and changes

We provide the site on a best-effort basis and don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features — or the whole site — at any time, and we may carry out maintenance that makes it temporarily unavailable.

11. Intellectual property

The site's design, code, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Football data, club and competition names, and any team imagery shown belong to their respective owners.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms or misuse the site. You can stop using Pure Predictions and ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how.

13. Our liability

Pure Predictions is a free game provided for entertainment. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, or from reliance on its content or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
